Welcome to FoxlyPress: Start Here

Hi! I’m happy to see you stumbled upon my website. My name is Chance, and I’ve been using WordPress since 2006. WordPress is the platform I used to create my first blog more than 15 years ago, and I’ve been self hosting WordPress projects ever since.

The WordPress open source project and its community has had a monumental impact on my life and made many projects possible. Lately, my cornerstone project involves the use of BuddyBoss to build and maintain a niche community for dentists called Embrasure Space.

While building Embrasure Space, I’ve been forced to tackle some significant challenges, build custom solutions, and develop custom functions to grow. This experience sent me searching for BuddyBoss-specific advice, use cases, examples, and support – all of which I found limited. BuddyBoss is paving the way for highly dynamic WordPress websites which forces us to rethink and revise our approach to WordPress.

The BuddyBoss theme, platform, and application is a powerful combination that’s pushing the limits of what WordPress can do and with that comes the need for a dedicated space to share best practices, trials, obstacles, and wins with anyone using (or contemplating) BuddyBoss to power their community.

FoxlyPress is a website born out of necessity for BuddyBoss users like myself. It’s a place where I can share what’s worked for me, what hasn’t worked for me, and what might work for you. It’s also a place for our team to share our own plugins that we have build to support our community that you can use to grow your own.

If you have questions about this project send us a message via the contact page.
